Over 3,400 children with special needs or from underprivileged families were treated to a special screening of Disney’s Dumbo movie recently.

Returning for its third year, the Kiwanis-MBO Mega Movie Treats 3.0 took place simultaneously across all MBO Cinemas outlets nationwide.

The grand launch took place at MBO’s latest outlet in Atria Shopping Gallery in Petaling Jaya and was officiated by Selangor State Assemblywoman for Kampung Tunku, Lim Yi Wei. She was joined by the General Manager of Sales and Marketing of MBO Cinemas, Jamie Tiong, and Ivan Oh, District Governor of Kiwanis Malaysia.

The 23 participating MBO outlets were from Kuala Lumpur, Petaling, Klang, Ipoh, Skudai, Kluang, Batu Pahat, Kota Tinggi, Teluk Intan, Taiping, Kuantan, Kulim, Melaka, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.

The event was made successful with the participation of JCI Malaysia, a partner of Kiwanis Malaysia. Other partners such as Coca-Cola, Pizza Hut and Dutch Lady sponsored food and beverages for the children.
