Customise your Barbie at Sunway Pyramid, Mid Valley, KLCC and 1U

IT’S a dream come true for parents. Mattel is giving you a chance to customise the Barbie that your child wants, rather than buying a packed doll and later find that your child doesn’t like the dress or shoes.

The opportunity is only for a short while though. The Barbie: Create Your Own is being held at:

  • Sunway Pyramid (LG2, Orange Concourse) from May 23-28, 2017
  • Mid Valley Megamall from June 1-4, 2017
  • Suria KLCC from June 8-11, 2017
  • One Utama from June 14-18, 2017

There are seven dolls to choose from and each doll comes with options for clothes and shoes.

“We always strive to remain relevant to the next generation of parents and girls. Barbie continues to be aspirational, and a vehicle for self-expression and storytelling,” said Fong JiaLi, head of marketing of Mattel South-East Asia.

“This season, we want to spark girls’ imagination in storytelling by enabling them the experience of customising their very own Barbie world with a wide range of fashion pieces and playsets to play out a world of endless possibilities. Our goal is to empower girls with choices and unlimited possibilities. Through the power of open-ended play, storytelling and imagination, girls can imagine anything they want to become through Barbie,”she added.

There will also be activities during the roadshow. At Sunway Pyramid, there will be storytelling on May 27 and 28 at 12noon, 3pm and 5pm. There will also be a Design Your Barbie Dress Contest on May 26-28 at 1pm, 4pm and 8pm.
